NAVHDA Testing
We strongly encourage all of our new puppy owners to test their dogs in Natural Ability through the NAVHDA testing system. And many of them may ask why? Well, the biggest reason we as breeders want puppy owners to test is so we can better determine future pairings based on the test results. As a new owner, I also would consider training for the test to help expose your puppy to scenarios that will show their true natural ability. Starting puppies on pointing, tracking and water at a young age has shown to kickstart their natural instincts and begin making that future hunting dog. The NAVHDA community is here to help others develop their new puppies into finished gun dogs. Higher levels of tests help to create reliable bird dogs in the field and water.
