Denver is from Brush Dale Kennel in Iowa. She was born June 14th 2021. Denver has a very sweet temperament and is very friendly to new people and other dogs. In the house, Denver is a very calm and sweet dog. Many people that she has met really loves how sweet and gentle she is and has said they want to take her home. She is my go to dog for road trips and visiting with friends and family.
Denver is a very bold hunting dog by running through brush, jumping right into water and she will gladly be the first to investigate any new experience. She has shown great potential as a hunting dog with her strong desire in field and water. She also has caught many wild rabbits in our large yard and retrieved them back to me. Very athletic! She has jumped straight up off the ground 4 feet onto a tree branch to try and find chipmunks. I think the name Out of This World has fit her well. Over the last 3 years, Denver has been our go to dog for any hunting. She is very cooperative and aims to please when out in the woods or fields. I am looking forward to keeping a puppy from this dog to continue her progeny.
Denver ran the NAVHDA natural ability test spring of 2022. She scored 110 earning a Prize 1. Now Denver is preparing for hunting season and started training for the NAVHDA utility test. So far with higher level training, we have noticed how eager Denver is to please. A very cooperative dog! She has been making me look very good through the training process. Loves the water and probably could be a dock dog with how she leaps into the water with every retrieve. We tested Denver in the NAVHDA Utility Test on September 28th, 2024 and she received a maximum score, Prize 1. In early fall 2025 Denver and I went to the NAVHDA Invitational at the Hawkeye Chapter in Springboro IA. The spring leading up to the test Denver had a litter born in April and was not back to training till June. We had 3 short months to prepare Denver for the invitational. We are very excited to announce that she passed the test and is our first Versatile Champion at our kennel!

Denver and I were hunting in the PA gamelands. Denver went on point and then looked at me and waited for me to move in. I went over and didn't see anything, so I told her, "Easy." Denver took every single step after that with extreme caution as she followed the track. She would move forward a few steps and then stop and look back at me as we worked together towards the bird. At about 100-150 yards later, Denver went on point. Lots of intensity. I moved in on the bird and out flys a rooster. After my shot, Denver took off after the bird. She finds and races back to me to deliver the bird. A well-deserved pheasant, indeed.
